Direct Sales for Animal Conservation & The Snow Leopard Trust
Direct sales brand Lupo & Wolf, in aid of the Snow Leopard Trust:
Exclusive Illustration Auction
Lupo & Wolf is delighted to announce that a bespoke hand-drawn illustration is to be auctioned to celebrate its collaboration with the Snow Leopard Trust. The online auction will launch on the 27the August and end on 1st September 2014, with all proceeds going directly to the charity, to help support its conservation projects.
Each trimester, Lupo & Wolf will donate a third of all direct sales profits to a different animal conservation charity. The projects will always be 100% transparent, tangible and results-orientated; with the firm intention and commitment of preserving these animals and their habitats. The Snow Leopard Trust is the first charitable organisation that Lupo & Wolf has aligned itself alongside.
Founded in 1981 by Helen Freeman, the Snow Leopard Trust covers a range of countries within Central Asia. This area alone, is known to contain over 75% of the world’s snow leopard population. It is currently estimated that these numbers now lie somewhere between 4,000 and 6,500. This is as a direct result of poaching, mining, revenge killings, loss of habitat and other serious threats. Some of the programs undertaken by the charity include livestock insurance, conservation education and Snow Leopard Enterprises.
In keeping with the brand’s desire to support Animal Conservation through direct sales – in this case, the Snow Leopard Trust - a young and highly talented illustrator – Chris McParlan, has been hand-picked and commissioned by Lupo & Wolf, to create his own enchanting interpretation of a Snow Leopard, wearing Lupo & Wolf jewellery. To celebrate the partnership and help raise money and awareness for the cause, the original, one-off, illustration (shown below) will be framed and auctioned, on the Snow Leopard Trust’s eBay Giving Works.
